The Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor India announced that it plans to launch the fourth generation Tucson in the second half of the calendar year. 

In the updated guise, the SUV is said to feature a design change in line with the current line-up of its vehicles. It will also feature some technological advancements, an official statement from the company said.

Unsoo Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India, said, “Hyundai has been the pioneer of many technological firsts. The all-new Tucson is set to thrill SUV buyers with Intelligent Technology, Futuristic Design, Unmatched Safety and Smart Innovations.”

Interestingly, the SUV has sold over seven million units worldwide ever since its launch in 2004, the release added. The company also claims that the SUV has achieved 50 prestigious global accolades since 2010.
