From Leasing E-Rickshaws, Eblu To Now Manufacture e2Ws, e3Ws

With an expected investment of INR 100+ crore in this venture by the Hira Group, the company has taken the step post the pilot phase (2019-20) of understanding and studying the market acceptance of EV vehicles by foraying in the leasing module.

Godawari E-Mobility’s Eblu has announced that it will produce and manufacture electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers. 

Accordingly, the e-Rickshaw rental platform provider will produce e-cycles, e-scooters, e-bikes, e-autos, e-loaders, and e-rickshaws and operate on a retail and leasing business model through its dealer network, the company said in a press release.  

With an expected investment of INR 100+ crore in this venture by the Hira Group, the company has taken the step post the pilot phase (2019-20) of understanding and studying the market acceptance of EV vehicles by foraying in the leasing module.  

Siddharth Agrawal, Managing Director, Godawari E-Mobility, said, “With this venture, we aim to provide self-employment to millions and enrich society with pollution-free complete vehicular transport solutions by reducing the carbon footprint. We also plan to expand PAN India with the main focus on West and South India in the first phase of the launch.”

 The company claims to have rented more than 1,000 vehicles and has helped provide self-employment, social upliftment, and non-polluting commute.  

The brand aims to have a PAN India presence with sales of one lakh e2Ws and one lakh electric 3-wheelers per annum by 2025, with products ranging from e-cycles to e-autos.
