Hero MotoCorp At Hero World 2024 mobility outlook

Hero MotoCorp has showcased its highly anticipated second edition of Hero World at the Centre for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, India. This event marked a pivotal moment for Hero MotoCorp, celebrating 40 years of remarkable history and unveiling a futuristic roadmap that sets new standards in the future of mobility.

The highlight of the event was the introduction of the Mavrick 440 motorcycle, signalling Hero MotoCorp's foray into the mid-weight category. This move is expected to redefine the dynamics of the 400cc segment, combining dynamic design with the signature reliability that the company is renowned for. The Mavrick 440 boasts a distinctive bold and assertive design, a powerful TorqX engine, and cutting-edge features such as eSIM-based connectivity for a truly connected riding experience.

In addition to the Mavrick 440, Hero MotoCorp invigorated the popular 125cc segment with the launch of the Hero Xtreme 125R. This model, combining agility and versatility, presents an athletic, commanding appearance with crisp lines and powerful proportions. It comes in two variants, priced at INR 95,000 for IBS and INR 99,500 for ABS (ex-showroom Delhi).

The event showcased Hero MotoCorp's commitment to sustainability with the introduction of Flex-Fuel Motorcycles, including the ethanol-based Hero HF Deluxe, Splendor+, and Glamour. These prototypes align with the Government of India’s Flex Fuel Initiative and reinforce Hero MotoCorp's focus on ushering in a new era of sustainable and clean mobility solutions.

Under the theme of emerging and green mobility, Hero MotoCorp presented interesting concepts, including the Vida V1 Coupe and two electric vehicle (EV) concepts – Lynx and Acro. Developed at the Tech Centre Germany, these products emphasise design, efficiency, and sustainability in the context of EVs.

Hero MotoCorp also showcased production-ready vehicles and concepts that were previously unveiled at EICMA 2023. Two new ICE scooters – the Xoom 125 and Xoom 160 – were presented, along with the Concept 2.5R XTunt, representing a new category for the company in high-capacity premium motorcycles.

Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, expressed the company's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and a brighter, sustainable future. He highlighted Hero MotoCorp's global footprint in nearly 50 countries, reflecting a confident Bharat and echoing the vision of the nation.

Niranjan Gupta, CEO of Hero MotoCorp, emphasised that Hero World 2024 is not just about showcasing cutting-edge vehicles but also about introducing advanced solutions that cater to diverse customer needs. He emphasised Hero MotoCorp's commitment to electrification and sustainability, envisioning a future where mobility is intelligent, connected, and environmentally responsible.

As part of its vision to be the Future of Mobility, Hero MotoCorp also presented the world's first-class convertible vehicle, 'Surge S32,' and showcased Freedo, an online two-wheeler rental platform with 1.5 million downloads, providing a wide range of products across multiple cities.
