Hyundai Standardises 3-Point Seatbelt, Reminder Across Range

Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India, noted that the company committed to consistently elevating the safety standards of its product line-up.

Hyundai Motor India has announced the standardisation of 3-point seatbelts and seatbelt reminder for all seats across its range of vehicles.

In addition, the company also standardised six airbags for Creta, Alcazar, Verna and the Ioniq 5 in 2023. While the Venue, Grand i10, and Aura got four airbags as standard.

Creta and Alcazar were also upgraded with standard active and passive safety features, including electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist control and rear disc brakesto name a few. 

The Hyundai Smart Sense Level 2 ADAS features were extended to the Ioniq 5 and the Verna.
