Nissan India, in partnership with ORIX, has introduced a unique intelligent ownership subscription plan for the Nissan Magnite, Nissan Kicks and Datsun redi-GO models across three cities to start with.

Phase 1 of the scheme is being rolled out in Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Chennai, while the second phase will be launched in Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai soon, said the company.

The subscription plan is being offered with zero down payment, zero service costs and zero insurance costs, while it also covers vehicle insurance, registration fee, road tax, RTO expenses and all maintenance costs including scheduled & unscheduled repairs, tyre & battery replacement, 24x7 roadside assistance and cost of paperwork.

The plan offers the USP of ‘white plate’ and ‘buy back option’, claims the company. There is no hidden cost as the customer is paying only a nominal refundable security deposit at the start of the subscription plan and subsequently pays a fixed monthly fee basis of pre-selected tenure, said Nissan.

Digital Shopping Platform

The company, meanwhile, is also launching Shop@Home, an end-to-end digital platform to extend a completely contactless car buying experience for the customers. The platform provides the options to personalise the car, evaluate exchange value of existing car, calculate, and compare EMIs and apply for finance before booking their personalised car.

In addition, the company is offering customers the option to pay at dealership after completing the journey online.

“Nissan as a customer-centric brand understands the dynamic lifestyles of the new age Indian customers, who seek the flexibility to manoeuvre amongst various ownership experiences,” said Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India on the launch of the subscription plan.

Sandeep Gambhir, Managing Director & CEO, ORIX India spoke about how car ownership patterns in India are changing fast, and how the company has witnessed a clear bias towards personal transportation as against use of public transportation in the past few months.
