Log9 & ETO Motors Join Forces mobility outlook

Log9 Materials has partnered with ETO Motors to introduce an innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model for electric three-wheelers (e3Ws). This collaboration is poised to enhance the operational efficiency, range, and sustainability of ETO Motors' fleet, marking a significant leap forward in promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions.

These state-of-the-art batteries will replace the older ones in ETO Motors’ vehicles, significantly boosting their performance and reducing environmental impact. The unique BaaS model proposed by Log9 eliminates the initial investment required for battery purchase, offering a maintenance and replacement service that ensures the batteries' optimal performance and longevity.

ETO Motors is committed to creating a more inclusive and environmentally conscious transportation ecosystem. This partnership aligns with their ongoing efforts to empower women entrepreneurs and provide employment opportunities within the transportation sector. ETO Motors operates an all-women fleet at prestigious locations such as the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat, reinforcing their dedication to gender equality and social upliftment.

Surender Nath, Executive Director of ETO Motors, expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting its potential to significantly reduce vehicular emissions and pollution. Nath emphasised the advanced driving experience that the new batteries would offer to both women and men drivers, furthering the company's mission to empower and provide for marginalised sections of society.

Pankaj Sharma, Co-Founder of Log9 Materials, spoke on the strategic importance of this collaboration, noting it as a pivotal step in the adoption of the BaaS model within the battery replacement sector. Addressing the challenges of battery acquisition for fleets and OEMs, Sharma pointed out the limited financing options that complicate the procurement process. This partnership, according to Sharma, represents a mutual opportunity for both companies to overcome these challenges, ensuring uninterrupted operations for EV partners through reliable battery solutions.
