Bengaluru-headquartered Log9 Materials has partnered with Indeanta Ventures. The duo have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) where the former will be providing its rapid-charging battery solution (RapidX batteries) to the latter’s 2/3-wheeler EV platforms.

Both partners plan to work together for a minimum of three years; starting now, they plan to deploy over 15,000 RapidEVs, including electric-2Ws and electric 3Ws. Out of these RapidEVs, a large majority will include cargo EV fleets used for logistics and last-mile delivery operations. It is worth mentioning here that Indenta has logistics contracts with Flipkart, Porter, Amazon and more companies. The companies will start joint operations in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata before moving to other metros.

Aaron Dsouza, Founder & CEO, Indeanta Ventures, said, “Through this partnership, Log9 will now be providing its climate-friendly and safe fast-charging batteries for our fleet of delivery 3-wheeler and 2-wheeler EVs.”

Kartik Hajela, Co-Founder & COO, Log9 Materials, said the collaboration with Indeanta will go a long way in minimising the downtime of these vehicles and optimising delivery cycles. Furthermore, the strategic partnership would also help strengthen both companies’ market positing and expansion for the short-term and enable them to scale across India and the world over the long term.
