Lucas TVS has announced that it has been recognised as the best workplace in the country's auto component industry by the Great Place to Work (GPTW) Institute.
According to the company's press release, Lucas TVS has excelled on all the five dimensions of the GPTW Trust Index – Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie.
Built around Customer Focus, Employee Involvement, Innovation and Ethical practices, the company considers its employees as its most valued assets for which it had initiated the 'Winning Culture' programme about six months ago.
This programme encouraged the young engineers and executives to showcase their innovation and success stories and saw participation from the entire leadership team.
According to the GPTW Institute, the programme's purpose is to allow companies to benchmark their practices, which is done through a certification process and by capturing employee feedback, making every workplace unique for employees.
