Orxa Energies has inaugurated its new facility at the Bommasandra Industrial area near Bengaluru. It can manufacture 20,000 Mantis electric motorcycles each year and capacity can be increased when needed.

Dr Prajwal Sabnis, Co-Founder, Orxa Energies, said, “Over the years, we have been actively improving our product offerings, making the Mantis an equivalent to the best-in-class ICE motorcycle.”

Orxa Energies raised its pre-series round of funding from the SAR group last year. It has now opened track days for the Mantis in various cities only those riders who ride it will be able to book the motorcycle.

“The EV revolution in India is touching new heights and the ecosystem we see is growing by the year. 2023 is a critical year for us and we are excited to share the engineering marvel developed in-house with our engineering team,” said Ranjita Ravi, Co-Founder, Orxa Energies.

The company’s new facility has been built centering on sustainability as its focus. The test track is made out of recycled plastic while the onsite composting system and recycling process ensure waste generation is kept in check.
