Honda R&D (India) Private Limited (HRID) celebrates the opening of its new Solution R&D Centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This state-of-the-art facility is set to become a cornerstone of Honda’s strategy to accelerate the electrification of its motorcycle and power products portfolio in India.

The centre will also explore software solutions and connected services, emphasising open innovation through collaboration with local tech companies and startups. This approach not only leverages Bengaluru’s rich technological ecosystem but also encourages the development of revolutionary services and business models that transcend traditional boundaries.

Honda’s expansion in Bengaluru is strategic, placing it at the heart of India’s tech hub, renowned for its dynamic research and development landscape. By tapping into this rich reservoir of innovation, Honda plans to co-create value-added products and solutions that resonate with contemporary consumer needs and environmental goals.
