The new age e-mobility start-up, Matter, on Thursday announced the introduction of its new high-speed mid-torque Matter Drive1.0 Motor with Integrated Intelligent Thermal Management System (IITMS) for e2Ws.

IITMS addresses temperature management for all the power train components, the company said. The Radial Flux Motor is based on a flux guide architecture which the company claims will allow for an optimum torque delivery.

Additionally, it also uses advanced materials to keep the drivetrain lightweight and comes with an active liquid cooling system, a release from the company stated.

Mohal Lalbhai, Founder & CEO, Matter, said, “The Matter Drive 1.0 with the IITMS is one of its kind in terms of technology and design. With our ground-up approach, we are disrupting the way EVs are looked at in today’s world.”
