Micelio Mobility, has announced the conclusion of its Global Clean Mobility Summit. The event brought together more than 300 thought leaders, including founders, investors, and policymakers, under the theme of 'scalability and collaboration.'

During the summit, Honda's Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt. Ltd. showcased its cutting-edge battery exchanger, along with the participation of Emobi, a 2-wheeler startup, and a 3-wheeler OEM.

The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) also revealed the operational status of the Digital Twin facility in collaboration with Micelio, furthering India's commitment to achieving the Prime Minister's goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2070.

An important highlight of the event was the release of the report titled 'Catalysing Electric Mobility: Insights from across the Electric Mobility Value Chain,' co-authored by RMI India, NSRCEL, and Micelio.

Speaking at the summit, Shreyas Shibulal, Founder & Director of Micelio Mobility, emphasised the importance of the event, stating, 'I firmly believe in India's potential as a clean mobility tech leader, and I encourage all of us to innovate and collaborate in achieving a sustainable future.'

Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa of India and Former CEO, NITI Aayog, delivered a keynote address, stressing the significance of building a robust battery value chain in India's journey towards an electric vehicle-dominated future. He highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships with prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs to ignite innovation and foster growth in the EV ecosystem.

Kris Gopalakrishnan, Co-founder, Infosys, said that mobility is a key entrepreneurship model for India's pursuit and lauded Micelio for enabling and encouraging such efforts.

The summit featured a lineup of speakers, including Dr. Anshuman Awasthi, VP - R&D - EV and Hybrid, Mercedes-Benz, Ranjitha Ravi, Co-founder, Orxa Energy, Takuya Taniguchi, President & CMD, Honda e:SWAP, Vishesh Rajaram, Co-founder & Managing Partner, Speciale Invest, and Anandi Iyer, Director of Fraunhofer Office India and Chair of the G20 Empower Working Group on Women in STEM. Discussions revolved around e-mobility investments and policies, offering valuable insights into the clean transportation landscape.

Dr. Reji Mathai, Director of the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), emphasised the role of e-mobility in India's broader clean air program and the importance of boosting component-level manufacturing for the country's progress. He also stressed the significance of ensuring robust and durable components to enhance stakeholder confidence in India's journey toward carbon neutrality.
