On the higher end, the Taigun GT Plus Sport starts at INR 18.53 lakh for the manual version and INR 19.73 lakh for the 7-speed DSG model. It is equipped with the 1.5l TSI EVO engine, known for its exceptional performance and efficiency. This model emphasises sportiness with significant exterior and interior enhancements, offering a total of 19 exterior and 15 interior features that set it apart in terms of both aesthetics and functionality.

The vehicles are part of the newly introduced 'Sport' line structure, unveiled at the Volkswagen Annual Brand Conference 2024. This new line aims to meet the evolving preferences of Indian consumers, offering more personalised options and a comprehensive approach to sporty design and performance.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, remarked on the launch, 'The introduction of the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport represents a significant evolution of our offerings, providing Indian consumers with access to high-performance models that do not compromise on safety or style. The GT badge is more than just a symbol of sportiness; it's a promise of a thrilling driving experience backed by German engineering.'

In addition to their sporty credentials, both variants come with a complimentary 4-year Service Value Package (SVP), ensuring a worry-free ownership experience.
